Mapo Resource Recovery Facility, which is located to the side of the parks, is a state-of-the-art high technology incineration plant emitting pollution-free gas and providing regional heating acquired during the process for the local 20,000 residents. Facility tour consist of viewing the last portion of the incineration process and the facility’s exterior.

  • Location: Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul
  • Opens: Mon-Fri 10:00-14:00 (Closed on National Holidays)
  • Reservations are required 2 months in prior to visit.
  • Duration for exploring: 1 hour
